Tibetan knife, which is usually worn at the waist, is one of the favorite among Tibetan people. It can help people produce, defend or decorate. The handle of the knife is made of the bone of cattle and wood which is wound by silver wire, bronze wire or iron wire with the bronze or silver as the decoration. The sheath is also exquisite with some patterns on it such as the dragon, phoenix, tiger, lion or flowers. Some are decorated by jewels or agates. |
